Hopson Elite Basketball was founded in 2007 by former NBA player and The Ohio State University All-Time leading scorer Dennis Hopson. Hopson Elite Basketball Club provides players access to training, fundamental instruction, and participation in AAU Basketball Tournaments to players in the Northwest Ohio area. Players who tryout for the teams and earn the privilege of being a part of a Hopson Elite team will establish new knowledge that will raise their basketball IQ and elevate their skills.  Players are coached and trained to exceed their personal goals and driven to reach new potentials that can propel them to the next level in their basketball journey. Players will learn the value of hard work and pushing themselves to succeed their goals both on and off the court. Hopson Elite provides athletes with tools like nutritional guidance, mentoring, and life skills that they can utilize beyond their basketball career. We at Hopson Elite, believe that basketball is more than a game, it teaches you skills that can be used in your everyday life. Basketball can establish and instill values in players like commitment, dedication, teamwork, discipline, time management, and passion. Dennis Hopson is an integral part of this program and he takes pride in coaching, training and mentoring both players in the program and the Northwest Ohio area on the skills needed to become successful both on and off the court.
